Simon Roy

ABOUT SIMON

A lawyer with an atypical background, Simon is a valuable asset for our firm. He has an impressive background of experience that is different from most attorneys.

With his writing and public speaking skills, Simon has long been a master in the art of word crafting. A wise strategist, he knows how to structure his reasoning and organize his ideas in such a way as not to leave any detail to chance. A loyal ally for some, a formidable opponent for others, Simon defends the interests of his clients at all costs and never hesitates to go to the front for them, when circumstances require as such.

Simon practices in civil and commercial litigation, and has a keen interest in business law. In addition to pleading before the Superior Court, he has collaborated on several appeal cases. He has also worked cases before various disciplinary instances.

In order to combine the useful with the pleasant, Simon founded, in 2016, his own business “Donnez bonne mine à vos textes”, which specializes in proofreading documents such as cover letters, academic papers, doctoral theses, master’s and appeal theses, as well as contracts and legal acts of all kinds. He counts many legal professionals among his clients. At the request of his law school classmates, he also developed a class which he titled “Rédaction juridique appliquée”.
